  1. McCombs Future Executive Academy – UT Austin

    At the McCombs Future Executive Academy, you’ll spend six days on the UT Austin campus exploring business fundamentals and leadership principles. You’ll engage in group activities, leadership sessions, and interactive workshops led by McCombs faculty and corporate representatives. The experience includes team problem-solving challenges and insight into careers in business and entrepreneurship. The program encourages participation from first-generation students and those who have faced economic or social barriers.

  2. Young Founders Lab

    The Young Founder’s Lab is a real-world start-up boot camp founded and run by Harvard entrepreneurs. In this program, you will work towards building a revenue-generating start-up that addresses a real-world problem. You will also have the opportunity to be mentored by established entrepreneurs and professionals from Google, Microsoft, and X.

    Apart from building the start-up itself, you will also participate in interactive classes on business fundamentals and business ideations, workshops and skill-building sessions, case studies, panel discussions, and more.The program is an excellent opportunity to delve into the world of business in high school and have a space to explore multiple theoretical as well as practical frameworks that lead to a successful business.   3. Rice University Summer Session

    This summer program allows rising high school juniors and seniors to take college courses for credit. You can enroll in a business-related course, working with peers and under the guidance of Rice University’s faculty. For high schoolers, this research experience can stand out on one’s resume. High school students must fill out a Visiting Student Application.

  4. Lumiere Research Scholar Program – Business & Entrepreneurship Track

    If you're interested in going deep into a business concept and developing a research paper with real-world relevance, the Lumiere Research Scholar Program is a rigorous, remote research opportunity tailored to high school students like you. Through this program, you’ll work 1-on-1 with a Ph.D. mentor from a top university to explore complex business topics such as behavioral economics, market structures, entrepreneurial strategy, or firm-level innovation. Over 12 weeks, you’ll identify a unique research question, conduct in-depth analysis, and complete a full-length research paper with expert guidance.     Subiendo is a five-day leadership development program at the University of Texas at Austin for rising Texas high school seniors. You’ll explore real-world challenges through case studies, engage with industry professionals and public sector leaders, and participate in collaborative projects to develop your critical thinking and problem-solving. Over one week on campus at TCU in Fort Worth, you’ll explore key concepts in data collection, statistical modeling, data visualization, and predictive analytics. With a daily six-hour academic schedule, the program covers tools such as clustering, regression analysis, and machine learning techniques, all taught by faculty from the Neeley School of Business. You’ll participate in team projects that simulate real business challenges, improve your ability to tell data-driven stories, and earn a Data Analytics Certificate upon completion.

  12. TCU High School Investor Challenge

    This program offers a crash course in investment strategy and portfolio management, starting with a week-long residential experience on the TCU campus. You'll learn the foundations of securities analysis, portfolio theory, and financial research by evaluating company data, analyzing analysts' reports, and making mock investment decisions. After the on-campus component in June, you’ll manage a $100,000 virtual portfolio throughout the school year, submitting trades and receiving feedback from TCU’s Educational Investment Fund analysts. The program culminates in a spring banquet, where you will present your portfolio performance to peers, professors, and your family.

  14. Texas Southmost College – B.E.A.T. Summer Camp

    The B.E.A.T. (Business, Engineering, Architecture, and Technology) Summer Camp introduces you to technical experiences that span several careers, including business. In past years, this camp has included workshops in 3D printing, small engine mechanics, plumbing systems, and electrical components, allowing you to explore the foundational tools and technologies used in these industries. You'll learn to interpret engineering schematics, operate basic technical equipment, and understand how design and systems thinking apply across various fields, such as architecture and electronics.

    The Young Business Leaders Summer Program is a week-long residential experience for high school students interested in careers in business. The program covers core business disciplines including entrepreneurship, marketing, accounting, finance, management, and information systems. Through case-based activities and experiential learning exercises, you’ll work in teams to solve real-world problems using business concepts. You’ll take part in site visits to local businesses. The program includes mentoring from PVAMU business students and staff as well as structured networking opportunities. If you're looking to examine various business career paths and enhance your problem-solving and collaboration skills, this program is a solid option.
